Why Chetoui?
Not all olive oil is the same. The Chetoui cultivar from Northern Tunisia produces some of the most powerful, polyphenol-rich olive oil on Earth — and science backs it up.
What is the Chetoui Olive?
Chetoui (pronounced sheh-TOO-ee) is a wild olive cultivar native to the mountains of Northern Tunisia. Unlike farmed varieties bred for high yield, Chetoui trees grow in harsh, rocky terrain at altitude — conditions that force the olives to produce extraordinarily high levels of protective polyphenols.
These polyphenols — natural antioxidant compounds — are what give Chetoui oil its distinctive peppery kick at the back of the throat. That sensation? It’s called oleocanthal, and researchers have found it has anti-inflammatory properties similar to ibuprofen.
The Chetoui cultivar is one of the oldest olive varieties in North Africa, with trees that can live for hundreds of years. The variety remains relatively unknown outside of Tunisia, which means you’re getting access to one of the world’s best-kept secrets in olive oil.

Why Polyphenols Matter
Polyphenols are the reason olive oil is considered healthy. But here’s the problem: most commercial olive oils contain less than 100 ppm of polyphenols.
The EU health claim standard requires at least 250 ppm to claim cardiovascular benefits. Our Pure Chetoui oil contains 733.3 ppm — nearly 3× the EU minimum and up to 7× more than typical supermarket brands.
Higher polyphenols mean:
- Stronger antioxidant protection
- Better anti-inflammatory properties
- Superior freshness and shelf stability
- More intense, complex flavor profile

💎 The Squalene Advantage
Pure Chetoui contains 4,023.80 mg/kg of natural squalene — one of the highest levels ever recorded in olive oil. Squalene is a naturally occurring lipid that:
- Is used by the skin for moisture and protection
- Acts as a natural antioxidant
- Is commonly extracted and sold separately as a premium skincare ingredient
- Typically costs RM 80–150 for a small bottle of pure squalane oil
With Pure Chetoui, you get extraordinary levels of natural squalene in every tablespoon — for both internal and topical use.
